Activision is having really big ambitions for the Call of Duty franchise moving forward. It’s not just focusing on making a vast expansion of its fanbase on the consoles but on the mobile devices as well. The success of a title like CoD Mobile is major proof of that.

Well, it looks like CoD Mobile won’t be the only mainstream Call of Duty title available for the players who love mobile gaming. Thanks to a series of convincing leaks, it’s already a known fact now that Warzone Mobile is in the works at Activision. It will be based on the highly popular battle royale offering that already exists since its 2020 debut.

However, recently, a scooper managed to get their hands on some of the most important Warzone Mobile details. Eventually, they shared them on social media as well, according to latest reports.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: First screenshots and early gameplay footage leaked!

According to VGC, a leaker reportedly revealed some exclusive screenshots from the title, which is currently in development.

The account, that goes by the name CoD_Perseus, on Twitter shared several images in one of their recent tweets claiming them to be from Activision’s game itself. They showed some players dropping off a plane during the beginning of a match from Warzone Mobile. Apparently, the area that the leaked images revealed was the map of gulag.

Furthermore, this tweet was soon taken down due to a report from the copyright holder. Which indirectly confirms that the leak was indeed a real one.

However, there was another tweet from CoD_Perseus showing the in-game footage itself. Well, that tweet is still live and hasn’t been taken down surprisingly.

Currently, there’s no official news available on Warzone Mobile, especially regarding its release date.

In other news, Activision’s majority of focus right now is one the big launch of its 2022 premium in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. The highly anticipated sequel of 2019’s blockbuster installment will make its debut on October 28, 2022.

Modern Warfare II will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
