Battlefield 2042 will release in just over a month and another leak has several of the fans in mixed opinions. Dataminers and leakers have revealed that the end-Of-round scene will be quite different from what players have known and will feature three different “Players of The Match”. These players will be decided independently of their squad and the fans of the Battlefield franchise might not be happy with this preference for individualism.

So 3 top individuals instead of 1 top squad? Sounds like yet another example of how this game is moving away from focusing on teamwork and squad play, instead emphasizing individual and solo play.

A sigh of relief for the disappointed fans can be that this feature is yet not finalized. However, Temporyal suggests that this might be apparently true and players will see a new form of scoreboard instead of a traditional one.
Battlefield 2042 has also generated disappointment from players during its open beta testing. Some players have even cancelled their pre-orders after playing the beta version. As the game releases on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4 on November 19, fans hope that all their anticipations and expectations are met at the full launch.
