Counter-Strike Major tournaments have been known worldwide for the energy, spirit, and excitement that the community and fellow teams present on the stage. The tournament has become an exception for the hype it enthralled the crowd with. On top of that, this year’s Majors saw Vitality as their worthy kings, but a viral unboxing clip reigned the floors of the tournament, apparently.

Fans upset as Paris CS:GO Major viral knife unboxing clip gets busted

While CS:GO players were injecting the arena with anticipation, a clip of a person unboxing a knife, which happens pretty rarely, blew off some steam for the fans. Even though the clip made the fans jump on their seats, one unanimous complaint was the fact that the camera panned out as soon as the cursor arrived at the knife icon, leaving the revelation a secret.

Following this, innumerable Tweets went on air as fans wanted to know the knife or other rare item that the person had won. Meanwhile, some were baffled by the uncertainty that was present in the clip.

To surface the ‘uncertainty,’ the Twitter account Ale (@_ale_cs) tweeted, ” I HATE TO BE THIS GUY BUT I’M DEBUNKING THE KNIFE CLIP @CounterStrike added the inspect items button in August 2022 which is missing here which proves the clip is a fake old recording I’M SORRY.” For visual aid one can see the tweet below:-

Moreover, if one sees the unboxing clip rather closely, they would see the excitement in the crowd to be rather in contrast with the one shown in a cut scene. Keeping this together with the ‘inspect item’ detail pointed out in the above tweet, one can sheerly expect this to be a fake or rather an old clip.

Surprisingly, the busted mystery behind the viral clip turned the fans into, if anything, in a good mood. A Twitter user said, “oh someone cheated what a surprise.” Another Twitter user exclaimed, “LAST CS:GO MAJOR DRAMA!!!”
