Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most popular RPGs on Steam right now. After ruling Steam consecutively for two weeks after its release, Larian Studios is all set to ship this game on PlayStation 5. While you may eagerly wait for the launch date, Larian recently announced the game’s pre-loading option for PlayStation 5 users. Crazy right?
However, Baldur’s Gate III is all set to release on PlayStation 5 on the 6th of September, along with Xbox’s grand project, Starfield. If you don’t want to waste your time on installing the game on its launch day, look out for the pre-load date released by the developers.

Baldur’s Gate 3’s launch on PlayStation 5 will be equally grand as Steam. A source confirmed that if players pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PlayStation 5 for $79.99, they can pre-install the game. This pre-load will start on the 31st of August at 16.00 UTC. This will be 9.00 AM Pacific Time for buyers in the United States. The pre-load option will offer players to directly experience the game after its release and avoid the installation process. Furthermore, Deluxe Digital edition buyers will get early access to Baldur’s Gate 3 on the 2nd of September.

However, Standard Edition buyers of Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t have this pre-loading opportunity on the 31st of August. However, they need not worry about it, as Larian announced a pre-loading opportunity for standard edition buyers. This will begin from the 4th of September. Although this opportunity of pre-loading will be given just two days before, still it will definitely reduce the hassle of installation on the day of launch.
