Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji is one of the biggest internet stars right now. An attempt to trace his rise to fame, the hidden side of his emotions, and other intrinsic factors of his life were seen in the Amazon prime documentary called KSI: “In Real Life”. It is directed by Wes Pollitt, and the documentary was seen trending in the past couple of days.

But it surely was not devoid of criticism. There were quite a few across several social platforms sharing their point of view on the recently released documentary video. These people were not finding the documentary to be as enthralling as it was hyped to be.

On IMDB, a user wrote that “As a documentary, it lacks a narrative focus and Structure”. The person also mentioned that the video did not justify the life and rise of JJ as an individual and just focused on the ‘money-making’ side of the figure.

On Twitter also backlashes like this were witnessed. A user was criticizing the documentary for over-hyping simplistic factors in life, like getting disciplined by parents. But KSI did not let this criticism go.

JJ’s reply to the online criticism

KSI did not let the online critic go after he mocked the scenes JJ shared with his dad in the documentary. “It’s so evident that this person hasn’t watched my doc,” was JJ’s reaction to the words from the Twitter user. He added that this person really did not even understand the point that was being conveyed in that scene.

Though later, the 29-year-old said that he appreciates the opinions of others. He added that this criticism will not affect him as he is happy with how things are right now.

Many came in support of the internet celebrity after these words. These supporters expressed how they were able to understand the actual meaning that the video was trying to convey.
