Multiversus started life as a Super Smash Bros.-like platform fighter and has now gained its own fan following. People seem to be enjoying knocking each other off stages based on fan-favorite Warner Bros. properties. Further, Multiversus being available free of cost and adhering to its free-to-play model is also playing a huge part in its popularity.

As it follows a Free-to-Play live-service model, it gets regular add-on characters and stages with seasoned updates. Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive and developer Player First games release new seasons every few months with a bunch of new characters.

Along with a new stage, Multiversus will also have plenty of new additions coming in the new season

Then there’s a new stage for players to fight in, King’s Landing from the popular series The Game of Thrones. Now, this is a curious addition. Before this, we had only one character from the series in this game, and that was Arya Stark. This addition makes us wonder if there are more characters and stages from Game of Thrones planned for the future. Tyrion Lannister maybe?

Other than Season Two and the above-mentioned content, players can now access the game’s shop and purchase Samurai Batman for 2000 Gleamium and Evil Morty for 1500 Gleamium along with a bunch of more characters and cosmetics. The publishers say there is more content to be announced and they would be sharing more information regarding the season 2 battle pass and content soon.
