Musk hit the ground running right after he acquired Twitter. He made many policy changes and changed the platform’s motto as well. However, it was still called Twitter. Musk recently confirmed that he will be changing the platform’s name from Twitter to X. With its iconic blue bird leaving, fans are really disappointed about Twitter’s latest look. However, it seemed that this disapproval was not unanimous as Kingdom Hearts fans were spotted embracing this new transformation of the platform.

They had their own theory of Elon Musk being a fan of Square Enix’s famous RPG series. This was confirmed after several Kingdom Hearts fans made a group, changed their profile picture on the platform, and featured the letter X in their username. This led to the controversy around Kingdom Hearts players approving Elon Musk’s decision.

It was also speculated that all of this had to do with Square Enix’s new marketing stunt. Parallels were drawn by fans on Reddit between the thirteen years of Twitter’s blue brand logo and the thirteen Seekers of Darkness in the Kingdom of Hearts. Furthermore, the fact that the changes to the logo came into effect in July, the seventh month of the year, was linked to the seven Guardians of Light in the game.
