Amazon-backed Twitch has got a new competitor in the market in the form of Kick. Kick is a live-streaming platform, just like Twitch. But the similarities end just there. Both platforms are making different approaches toward how they treat their creators and audience.

While growing rapidly, Kick is far from reaching similar to Twitch’s user base. And they are trying every means they can to reach there. Kick reached out to the undisputed king of YouTube, MrBeast, for help. And fans are waiting to see how MrBeast reacts.

MrBeast is known widely for his philanthropic and lively videos on YouTube. Although not a streamer himself, MrBeast has started tweeting some tweets related to Kick. He recently pointed out in a comment under xQc‘s clip about Neymar gambling on Twitch. MrBeast also commented on the signing of Hikaru Nakamura, who became the latest addition to the platform.

MrBeast recently commented on one of the Tweets posted by Kick. And Kick responded in a manner MrBeast makes his videos, outlandishly. The streaming platform responded with a Tweet replying to MrBeast stating they only need one like to make MrBeast the CEO of the platform.

The response that followed this Tweet was hilarious as well. User @J4CKMULL replied he thinks a $500,000 donation is coming to small Kick streamers.

User @arauv1x tweeted MrBeast will buy off xQc and Kai Cenat with his own money the day he becomes CEO.

While the responses of fans are pouring in, Kick achieved what they wanted from that Tweet. Fans have got more familiar with the name Kick and the company has gained popularity. Still, they would need more to defeat Twitch.

Will Kick Survive in the Streaming Wars?

Kick has definitely made waves after Trainwreckstv stated he would be moving from Twitch to Kick. The platform has also started making lucrative offers to creators to get them to join their platform. Kick offers a 95-5 revenue split compared with Twitch’s 50-50 and YouTube’s 70-30.

Apart from money distribution, the community guidelines of Kick also differ a lot from Twitch. On Kick, Adin Ross live-streamed the Super Bowl, scrolled through P*rn sites, and even discussed sensitive topics. This would be a strict violation of Twitch’s community guidelines.
