Sonic is a video game that needs no introduction. The blue hedgehog cemented its place in gamers’ hearts way back in 1991. However, as times have changed, the franchise has adopted a social media presence as well. In a hilarious and absurd turn of events, the beloved video game character had a bizarre interaction with none other than the fast food chain, KFC.
Sonic and the hilarious interaction with KFC
The whole incident started with a Tweet from KFC’s official handle. This tweet was absurdly funny on its own, even without the interaction which followed. ‘The Colonel’ was expressing his hunger when looking at Twitter’s official logo. The account called it a ‘juicy fat bird’ and added that whenever he sees the bird, his “mouth starts a waterin’ and ‘hanks start a hankerin’.” This totally out-of-the-blue Tweet is sure to put any reader in a fit of laughter.

However, that was not the end and the tweet was met by Sonic the Hedgehog calling upon The Colonel to stop this tomfoolery at once. The Colonel, however, added fuel to the fire by comparing the iconic video game character with Twitter’s blue bird logo.
He then called upon Sonic to approach The Colonel for an ominous ‘closer look’. The Hedgehog responded with a meme on which was written, “Keep your Kentucky Fried fetish away from me.”
