PewDiePie beautifully documented all the moments leading up to his son’s birth and presented them to the fans in a vlog. The vlog started with him dropping his wife Marzia at the hospital for the delivery. Due to safety precautions, he was not allowed to stay more than two hours in the hospital alongside Marzia.
“I just can’t imagine there’s gonna be a baby,” he said, sharing how nervous he was about the arrival of his baby, “I’ve thought about it hundreds, thousands of times, but it’s just like I can’t imagine it’s gonna be a baby. I don’t know I have no experience to relate that to.”
At the brink of the delivery of the baby, however, the baby was not in the right position to come out. The couple both agreed they would be opting for an operation for the smooth delivery of their baby if necessary. Despite that, Björn was born without any complications on July 11, 2023, at 15:27 according to the blog. PewDiePie decorated their house for the arrival of Björn and Marzia, also including traditional decorations sent over by Marzia’s parents.
The YouTuber shares his experience of having a new member in the house
PewDiePie shared that he has named his son Björn, an old Viking name that means bear. The first night with Björn in the house was a tough night for the new parent. PewDiePie shared, “We survived our first night. Marzia stayed up so late I didn’t even realize. So she’s still asleep and I’m trying to take care of him as much as I can.”
But the joy Björn has brought to the new dad is ineffable. He believes his son is a clone of him from the sci-fi movies. The YouTuber has also appreciated his fans for being supportive throughout this journey.
