JiDion’s Pleas Fall On Deaf Ears As Twitch Makes Shocking Change to His Ban

2022 brought pretty sad news for all the JiDion fans. A well-known YouTuber and television star Jidon ‘JiDion’ Adams found himself in hot water after a hate raid on a stream from the popular female streamer, Pokimane. Even after Jidion’s public apology, Twitch has made a shocking change to his 14-day ban; many people believe no one is actually ready to listen to his side of the story.

JiDion now has been permanently banned from the purple platform after his fans’ hate raid on Pokimane’s livestream chat. JiDion is making big headlines at the moment on multiple social media platforms, but not in a good way. The majority of the users and media are criticizing him for harassment.

Why did JiDion get permanently banned on Twitch following Pokimane controversy?

JiDion is a well-known content creator, mostly loved by his fans for his amusing content. JiDion began his YouTube journey way back in 2018 and has been making videos that generally go on to become very popular since. Along with his YouTube channel, JiDion had also started streaming on Twitch recently.

However, sadly for the streamer, just in days of joining Twitch, JiDion faced this ban and an overwhelming wave of criticism from the community and Pokimane fans. Netizens are desperate to know the real reason behind this permanent suspension.

Basically, JiDion encouraged his chat members to bombard Pokimane’s stream with “everybody say L + Ratio” in her chat. After this, Pokimane, who was streaming Valorant at that moment, immediately realized that it was some kind of hate raid.

Above all, it wasn’t just Pokimane who faced this harassment. Her viewers were also targeted by JiDion using Twitch’s feature, Whisper. It is a one-on-one DM feature on Twitch that basically allows you to send private messages to users in chat and that too without switching any platforms.

Pokimane soon ended her stream, courtesy of the doings of JiDion and his fans.

After the ban, JiDion explained the entire situation via multiple tweets on his official Twitter handle. He also apologized for his mistakes. He wrote, “In the end, whatever happens, I learned from my mistake and will do better in the future and I learned how much u guys really love me and I’ll be sure to never lose your guy’s trust.”
