The narrative of the story is pretty complex. It is filled with damaged relationships, gory details, and synergy between the characters. Even the game had such a structure. These elements are the soul of the series along with the extraordinary performance from the artists. The second season, which is expected later, will also likely follow the pattern. Interestingly, Gabriel Luna, who is an avid fan of the games already is in preparation for the second season.

Though the current season still has a few episodes left, Luna is keen on the next one. “I’ve pitched a few ideas to Craig and Neil about what we could explore, considering we can bubble out to certain pockets of the story that we don’t get to experience in the game,” stated Luna.

We already witnessed many changes in the series as compared to the game. So, Luna’s ideas may even be featured in the second season. He especially wants to explore the journey of Tommy after his estrangement from his brother. According to the actor, this would be an incredible turn.

According to Luna, the show can explore his relationship with the Fireflies’ leader Marlene, who supposedly had a connection with the character. Other avenues the actor thinks would work well with the narrative are the ruthless time the siblings faced in Boston. Which in his mind works as the tool which makes Tommy take a step back. All these ideas are pretty great and would be amazing if they made it into the second season.

It would be insane if we get to see an extended version of the siblings’ estrangement and more of Tommy’s journey in the second season.
