Twitch Star Pokimane has been dominating the list of favorite streamers for a long time now. The 26-year-old sensation joined Twitch back in 2013 and managed to build a huge community in nine years. As a result, Pokimane often caters to her fans’ wishes, hosting meet and greets, appearing at popular events, and more. In addition, streaming arguably isn’t an easy career.

Exhaustion is common when people are hard-working to their fullest. Pokimane has reached a similar phase in her career and hence, decided to take a break to lighten her mind. She took to Twitter to announce her decision, leading to fans and her fellow streamers fully supporting her.
Pokimane announces a break from her work schedule
In a recent tweet, Pokimane announced her decision to take a break from content creation. The popular streamer mentioned that she wanted to focus on her “offline” life away from streaming and content creation. She also stressed the importance of taking breaks for the welfare of one’s career and health.

Pokimane’s popularity and success have allowed her to take the much-needed break amidst her tireless schedule. She also thanked her fans for the same, “I’m so grateful for the support y’all have shown me over the years. Thanks for putting me in a position where I’m able to take time off this.”
Pokimane also recently attended an instance of TwitchCon 2022 in Amsterdam, where she interacted with a bunch of her fans.
As expected, several of her friends and fans extended their support for her decision.

The part-Moroccan Canadian streamer currently has 9.2 million followers on Twitch and also a whopping 6.69 million subscribers on YouTube. Pokimane’s dominance in the streamer’s league is clearly visible and honestly, such popularity can truly be thrilling but also exhausting at times.
Considering the work pressure, Pokimane sure needed a mental reset, as she mentioned in her tweet. “I’ve been feeling in need of a mental reset & some time to focus on myself / my life offline. imo proper breaks are essential to one’s health/ career longevity”

Although she announced her break, Pokimane didn’t mention the date she’ll return to Twitch. However, considering her dedication, it doesn’t look like she’ll delay her return much. After all, she loves her fans!
