Veteran CS: GO pro Kenny Schrub, aka kennyS, is in dire need of the left-handed model in CS2. Kenny recently posted a tweet stating his concern. The left-handed model in CS: GO is one of the major aspects of his huge success in the game. But right now, the latest installment of this iconic gaming series doesn’t have it. Kenny is a lefty, so he has to struggle a lot these days to adjust to the conventional right-handed model of CS2.
Any logical reason for not having left handed model on cs2 yet ? It’s really difficult for me as a left handed

This legendary player recently put an end to his iconic professional career, which spanned over 11 years. With over 15 individual awards in popular CS: GO tournaments like the HLTV Major and a Major Championship at Cluj-Napoca in 2015. Kenny called it a day at the Blast.tv Paris Major 2023 following GamerLegion’s victory over Heroic in the semi-finals.
Not only in CS: GO, but in all the previous Counter-Strike games, we had the option to switch the view model from right to left or vice versa. To switch to the left-handed model, all we had to do was enter this command: “cl_righthand 0. To switch back to right, the command is “cl_righthand 1”.

This fan has a blind left eye and the new CS is becoming so hard for him to cope with.
In my opinion having left handed model is an accessibility feature that should be added.
I am blind in my left eye so left handed model gives me more screen space / vision.

One fan has found the probable reason for the unavailability of this feature.
Makes shadows difficult to make accurate

Another fan, even after having an experience of 8 years, is struggling in the new game.
It's really hard to spray rifles after playing left handed for 8+ years

According to this fan, it’s the inconsistency in the weapon POV that has forced Valve to scrap the left-handed view model from CS2.
There's a reason for it. In previous versions of cs there were 3 different weapon models for each weapon, but in cs 2 there's only one model and now in cs2 if you'll have a weapon in your left hand, then everyone we'll see you with weapon in left hand which would be inconsistent
