VTuber Silvervale voices the public criticism faced by her for streaming Hogwarts Legacy

A Twitch VTuber, Silvervale, recently shared her opinion on receiving hate “over a game.” While emotional, she shared the tragic experience after playing Hogwarts Legacy. She raises the issue of her friends getting targeted as well, and seeing hate comments on random tweets.

Addressing the issue, Silvervale said, “Harassment and doxing, people doxing my friends. And, like, so much horrible, vile things. All for streaming a f*cking video game. This is just insane. Like, hate breeds hate, and it doesn’t help anyone.”

She continued, “And I don’t know, I got to the point where I was sick of seeing hatred all over and guilt-tripping on random art tweets. It’s literally like they gang up on so many random tweets about Valentine’s Day or art or automated posts. Like, they wanna post so much negativity everywhere, and I just got sick of it, so I blocked people. Because I just wanted breathing room.”

This was the admission made by the VTuber who addressed her getting criticism over playing the respective video game. Many streamers have voiced their opposition to playing the video game. However, the game has been flourishing well on Twitch and even created a new viewership record before its official launch.
