There is only one question that is reverberating in every gamer’s mind: When will GTA 6 launch? Forget about updates; there is not even a sneak peek from Rockstar Games, and fans are not happy about this. However, the hype is very much alive. 10 long years since the release of GTA 5, fans have been waiting for its worthy successor. And now, new speculation has made its way to X (formerly Twitter) according to which the wait might come to an end pretty soon.
Rockstar Games has always chosen a special month for all of their special releases and updates. And it seems GTA 6 won’t be an exception either. As things stand after their famous titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption, we could finally be getting official news on GTA 6.

Keeping in mind Rockstar Games’ previous trends over the years, fans may apparently get some updates about GTA 6 in October, in the form of a teaser or trailer.
In the past, the makers of the Grand Theft Auto series have been emphasizing the month of October for a long time. In October 2011, the community got to witness the announcement of GTA 5 for the first time. Following that, on November 2, players got the trailer for the highly anticipated game as well.
GTA 6’s reveal is on the horizon as we approach October in just a week.

It’s not the end of Rockstar’s love story with October. On October 16, the highly anticipated Redemption II was revealed for the first time through a teaser. Four days later, the trailer for the game was released too.
Seeing this trend, GTA fans are rooting for October again to see the latest installment surface.
Another October reveal? There is hope
This speculation has made fans jump on their feet. Here are some fan reactions:
Considering the success of GTA V, the next installment is expected to be even bigger. So if the 10 year long wait does end and fans do get an official update, it is bound to break the internet.

While there is high hope for an official reveal in October, there’s been plenty of Octobers between the previous installment’s release and the rumoured upcoming reveal.
Well i REALLY hope it's happening this year.
All signs point to yes, but then again, we've been saying this for years now.— Jason from Gta 6 (@jasonfromgta6) September 24, 2023

Rockstar changed their logo to Red, before announcing RDR2. As of now, Rockstar hasn’t shown any kind of sign with GTA 6. So, this fan doesn’t think this highly anticipated title will be announced in October.
