In a recent interview with THE BURNETTWORK, Mohammad Alavi, a former developer at Respawn Entertainment, disclosed that Titanfall 3 was in development for a period of ten months before it was ultimately canceled.
Alavi explained that during the initial stages of development, they spent three months working on the game, but unfortunately, it did not live up to their expectations. He emphasized that while the progress made was incremental, it lacked the revolutionary nature that had characterized Titanfall 2.

The multiplayer team faced considerable difficulties in addressing the issues faced by dedicated fans who cherished the multiplayer experience. This presented a significant obstacle in the development process.
