Since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, the platform surely had a rough ride in the online community. Many people came in criticizing various steps that the new CEO of the micro-blogging platform made. The most noticeable one among these was the changes that were brought to the blue checkmarks.

People were on polarized ends regarding it. One person who has been constantly advocating against Musk’s actions is Hasan Piker. And now yet again he pokes at Twitter for their ‘confusing’ notifications regarding legacy marks.

Elon Musk taking over Twitter was one of the biggest news of 2022. Many expected dramatic changes to happen in the social platform and it surely did. But the actions that Musk took were confusing and quite problematic in the eyes of many. Hasan Piker is one of those people, and he has been constantly pointing out the actions that Musk takes regarding Twitter.

Now Piker has come forward making fun of Musk and called his actions ‘dumb’ following a new change that Twitter made to the checkmarks. That is, at present when someone checks the blue checkmarks of others, a confusing message pops up. The social platform no longer tells the users whether a person has subscribed to the checkmark, or if they are a legacy holder.

HasanAbi mocked Twitter for making such a change in the platform. He stated that Twitter realized the value of blue checkmarks actually lies in duping people and making them think it’s a Legacy checkmark. He found it more hilarious as this new addition came just after Musk announced the changes that are coming to the checkmarks this April.

Musk wanted to make sure that the AI swarm in the platform is curbed with the removal of checkmarks. But according to Piker this new change that the platform brought is contrary to what he said.

Soon after Piker posted this on Twitter, many people came forward to take a dig at Elon Musk and his micro-blogging platform.

Some were talking about how contrary the statements and actions are, regarding the Twitter blue checkmark. Swarms of memes also found their way to add hilarity to the issue.

Amidst these, numerous people pointed out how to find the ‘bought’ and ‘acquired’ checkmarks to some extent. From the looks of it, things surely will take an interesting turn when Legacy marks are removed on April 14.
