On August 16, IShowSpeed was playing the popular horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s on YouTube. While playing the game, IShowSpeed got jumpscared by in-game characters. The streamer reacted in a very IShowSpeed-way and started teasing the viewers after getting scared.
However, this led to a wardrobe malfunction which was an accident on Speed’s behalf. The 18-year-old quickly ended the stream and the stream has since been taken down from YouTube.
Despite these steps, the online community was fearful about the dark clouds hovering over Speed’s future streams. Multiple fans thought he will be getting a strike from YouTube or a little slap on the wrist with a few day’s ban.
The streamer might also have received a permanent ban on YouTube. But things turned out in favor of IShowSpeed.
YouTube spares the 18-year-old this time
According to the reports from TMZ, YouTube has surprisingly decided not to ban Speed for his accidental wardrobe malfunction. The report point out YouTube officials decided to tackle this situation aptly and have excused this accident.

Furthermore, Speed’s quick response to take down his stream from YouTube also helped further his case. YouTube has given him a green flag to continue streaming for now, but his future streams will also be reviewed under community guidelines.
This news has relieved the fans of IShowSpeed. They were worried about the future streams of Speed as he is permanently banned from Twitch. If YouTube had banned Speed too, the 18-year-old would have had to find another home for streaming, possibly Kick or Rumble.
