The Sidemen Charity Match 2023 came with a bang this year, breaking both the viewership and donation records of the past year. This year’s event had everything, be it deadly tackles or own goals, counter celebrations or hat-tricks. However, in this 13-goal thriller, one man stood apart. And no, not Miniminter or KSI.

The $100 million-worth streamer xQc had a nightmare throughout the game, slipping past eight goals wearing the gloves for the YouTube All Stars. This horrific performance, which led to the defeat of the team, brings back another pledge he made one month ago.

Is xQc leaving reaction contents?

One month ago, Sidemen member Miniminter invited the Canadian streamer and former Overwatch Pro for the charity match through a video. He accepted the invitation and stated: “Since the invitation is formal, I’ll accept it. I’ll go to the Sidemen charity match. I’ve got this; I can do it.”

Later on, Sidemen announced on their Twitter handle that Felix would be a part of the Sidemen Charity Match this year. Now comes the most interesting part! He shared that announcement tweet by stating that he would no longer do react contents if he lost that game.

Coming back to the present, xQc conceded eight goals, including a hat-trick from Manny. Further, he got a match rating of 0.3 out of 10 on FotMob, which is the lowest among all the players who took part in the game.

Now, what lies ahead of xQc’s React Content’s future, as he pledged to stop doing it if he lost? If we say it’s just a loss, that would be an understatement. It was pure humiliation that led his team to defeat against the Sidemen FC.

This dismal performance from this streamer led to a harsh conclusion. In the offline chat of his Twitch channel, he stated that he is never going to grace the soccer field again.

React Contents is a big aspect of this Canadian streamer’s career. However, recent controversy with American YouTuber Ethan Klein led to a debate that his videos lack creativity and originality. And following recent events, it would be an enormous blow to all the viewers if the most valued kick streamer stopped doing what is probably his most prominent aspect of his content.
