Nintendo also put up a web page on their site informing fans about what is to be expected from the event. “An all-ages celebration of Nintendo fun!” reads the Nintendo page.
This announcement comes weeks after ReedPop canceled E3 2023. Microsoft and Ubisoft had already pulled out from E3 in favor of hosting their own game events. Nintendo also has joined its ranks by ditching E3 and hosting its very own event.
Nevertheless, fans are still excited about the announcement.

While E3 2023 will remain cancelled, fans are speculating whether this is Nintendo’s way to reach the status of E3. If they do achieve this, Nintendo will go from having a booth at E3 to hosting an entire event themselves.
This is like if Nintendo wanted to host their own E3-ish style gaming event. This is pretty cool though 🙂

The Nintendo page containing information about the event also mentioned having a live stage. The Nintendo Live event held in Japan made the news by having a holographic concert for Japanese Nintendo fans. The fans in the US are also hoping they will get a concert of their own.
