Many gamers nowadays prefer getting memberships from game publishers to buying individual copies of video games. So almost every big-name game publisher and console manufacturer have come up with their own subscriptions. Even PC users have access to some exciting gaming subscriptions.

Xbox and PlayStation have built a solid reputation for their subscription services, which provide a good selection of games. However, the former is taking a leap forward, as they brought over the subscription offered by Ubisoft. This would be their second subscription from another video game publisher, following the EA Play by Electronic Arts.

Many Xbox players recently discovered a Ubisoft+ punch card on their consoles’ Microsoft Rewards app. However, that punch card linked them to a dead URL, indicating that the service was not yet available. But that isn’t the case anymore, as the Ubisoft+ subscription is now accessible on the Xbox.

Xbox gamers will now have access to excellent video game series such as Assassin’s Creed, WatchDog, and Far Cry with this Ubisoft subscription. Additionally, they would also be able to play other titles like For Honour and Rayman Legends. Also, they will get access to the new games that Ubisoft releases in the future.

Ubisoft+ was available on PC for $14.99 and $17.99. While the former plan only limits to PC, the second one gives access to both PC and Xbox. So the console users would have to pay $17.99 per month for the Ubisoft+. Moreover, it won’t be included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier, which already included the EA Play.

How did fans react to this new subscription?

Xbox fans were excited about the plan, but it is no longer there after hearing the price they have to pay for this subscription. They claimed it is too expensive and claimed the games available in this plan are mediocre. Fans were hoping this plan would be included in the Xbox Game Pass like the EA Play. Moreover, some fans stated they were willing to pay $14.99, which most PC users pay.
