The hardcore FPS gaming fest is back with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Although being subjected to a rather disappointing start with poor reviews during the beta run, the latest installment to the Modern Warfare 3 franchise has started dominating the internet trends. The multiplayer has not just appealed to the CoD fans but a Fortnite veteran as well. However, before beginning the experience, the star streamer has a query from the FPS fanatics.
Amidst all the debate going around MW3’s progress from beta, another discussion is sparked by streamer and creator CouRage. The latter had recently made headlines for his homecoming to Fortnite OG season. Apparently, the streamer is now looking for his next ‘casual gaming experience. But is the new CoD a good choice for casual gaming? Well, here’s what the fans think about the query that has sparked an interesting debate on social media.

Despite some strong criticism Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been facing since its beta run on single-player mode, the game seems to have retained most of its player base through the multiplayer mode. However, a lot of CoD veterans have also called out MW3 as being no better than MW2 in terms of glitches and bugs, but the numbers are still phenomenal for a ‘game in progress.’
But not all the players look for an intense pro clashing with the FPS and prefer casual fun with some heavy arsenal showcase. Thus, CouRage took to his X account and wrote, “Can Call of Duty public games be played casually in 2023? I’d love some tips on how to enjoy multiplayer. I just want to run around with the new guns and level them up but all my lobbies have ACRs/Holgers fully kitted.”

A user believes having casual fun in CoD is not possible mostly because of the matchmaking system that makes the game more of a professional battleground.
Nah cause Call of Duty has a matchmaking system in place that no one seems to like but they swear is beneficial

An FPS fan believes the fun element has been eradicated from every FPS game these days as all appeal to a pro-action-packed contest.
Sadly the FPS genre in general has become a sweat fest and nothing really caters to casual. With SBMM and just how games are in general these days.
