Streamers switching platforms has become a common sight. High-profile streamers like DrLupo, Ludwig, TimTheTatman have already made the switch to YouTube Gaming from Twitch, as the red platform’s arsenal continues to grow. And now Pokimane has shared an interesting piece of news concerning her contract coming to an end. Could she be leaving Twitch?
Poki has been with Twitch for a long time and has never dabbled with the idea of moving away. She has built an incredible community of followers of 8.9 million viewers. This is not a small number by any means and leaving a massive fanbase like that behind won’t be an easy decision to make.

Pokimane can reunite with her Valkyrae on YouTube
With almost a decade in the streaming career and millions of followers behind Imane Anys, aka Pokimane, has built an incredible fanbase on the red platform as well. With nearly 7 million followers, a move to YouTube Gaming seems like a promising endeavor; she has already stated that her stream will resume on 8th February.
After losing so many big names in 2021, Twitch cannot take another blow at this point and will probably try to retain her service at any cost. Imane ropes in thousands of views daily.
YouTube Gaming is the only competitor for Twitch at this point, and the red platform could make definitely make an offer she would find hard to decline.

YouTube already has many top-rated names in CouRageJD, Dr Disrespect. Valkyrae, MrBeast, Corpse Husband, and more. The red platform still has a week’s time to make a serious offer to Pokie, something that could hurt Twitch and leave YT Gaming miles ahead in the race.
Losing so many stars in the span of a few months won’t be easy to deal with for Twitch, as the war between the two platforms rages on.
