The next-gen console comes with an expandable storage option. This allows the players to have additional storage apart from the stock NVMe SSD. The expandable storage slot allows users to have an additional NVMe drive, which will increase the overall storage of the console.

As of now, there is no known list of compatible drives with the PS5. More information will be available closer to the launch date.
