Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players are not having a very good time with Activision’s blockbuster from 2022. Moreover, the Warzone 2 battle royale is also failing to impress them, to say the least. Simply put, devs need to do something soon in order to bring the users back to the two titles. Fortunately, an upcoming update might positively affect the situation.

Currently, COD enthusiasts are eager to see what Season 3 has in store for them. Although the ongoing Season 2 has offered them a lot in terms of content, it’s not been enough somehow. Hence, the next season has to be as amazing as possible—no matter what—especially in terms of offering attractive, captivating maps for the multiplayer experience. And it appears as if Season 3 will, in fact, introduce a fresh addition for the hardcore MP lovers.

In case anyone missed the news, COD makers recently invited popular streamer FaZeDirty to try out an upcoming weapon. Well, this weapon is none other than the old Intervention sniper rifle, rebranded as the FJX Imperium.

To showcase what this rifle is capable of, FaZeDirty even uploaded an extended gameplay footage on his channel. Interestingly, the video stream also unveiled the first look of Pelayo’s Lighthouse. It is going to be the new map for 6v6, core Multiplayer experience in Season 3.

Taking an initial look at this upcoming map might remind some loyal fans of a classic map from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. It was called the Estate, and was a medium-sized MP map.

Considering the appearance of Pelayo’s Lighthouse and some of its aspects as revealed in the clip above, it seems like parts of this map are loosely based on the Estate. However, one can’t clearly say that this is going to be a remake of the original featured in MW2. It could be the case, though, that the developers may introduce this 6v6 map as a remastered version.
