Rumors suggest Nintendo Switch Online’s future might be at a colossal risk

In one of Nintendo’s blogs, it explained everything about the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership plan. It mentioned, ” In addition to all the benefits of a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can play a selection of Nintendo 64™ games as well as retro SEGA Genesis classics. Plus, you’ll be able to play the Animal Crossing™: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC for no additional charge.”

Nintendo has released a bunch of N64 and Sega Genesis games for its users as promised. However, a YouTuber named SwitchForce asked a splendid question ‘What is next?’ In the video, he mentions that he appreciates how much consistent Nintendo has been for N64 Online games.

He further talks about his excitement for the upcoming Mario Golf release. Later, he questions Nintendo’s plans for the membership users. He explains all N64 games except two advertised in the teaser back in 2021 are already released. Once all 16 N64 games get released will Nintendo stop supporting N64 games similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

He said,” Is that the end? Are we dried up of N64? Look, it was a small platform.
