While Modern Warfare II has witnessed various Double XP weekends so far, a lot of users have been curious lately to see one in the ongoing update. Well, now it looks like their wish has been fulfilled already!
Call of Duty devs have confirmed a Double XP weekend for Modern Warfare II and it’s live!

Double XP acts as a booster for players in COD titles. It enables them to level up faster and gain higher prestige ranks by entering online matches. As compared to regular gameplay, playing with double XP can be a big boost, even resulting in seemingly instant level-ups.
Now speaking of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, it has recently witnessed yet another Double XP weekend. Just a day ago, the devs took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the latest XP weekend has gone live for Season 5 Reloaded.

The ongoing Double XP event will run from September 15 through September 18, 2023. Which means players have got four days to level up faster and reach top ranks by spending more in-game time.

Meanwhile, many curious players are also looking forward to the next major COD offering. Ever since its official announcement, Modern Warfare III has created a huge buzz within the COD community.
Activision is going to fill Modern Warfare III with content
The publisher confirmed that Modern Warfare III will make its way globally on November 10. With that being said, its developing studio Sledgehammer has promised to give players an amazing FPS experience with the brand new COD.
Compared to its ongoing predecessor MWII, the upcoming game will feel different in a lot of ways. For example, movement mechanics will be based on classic titles in the franchise – just the way fans want them to be; without implementing unnecessary changes.

Furthermore, Sledgehammer’s title will also introduce a unique feature in Carry Forward. The latter will enable the players to continue using their purchased items and cosmetics from MWII in Modern Warfare III as well. Plus, the game will have brand new maps, alongside a collection of 16 remastered maps from the iconic MW 2 installment of 2009.

Oh, and there will be an exciting Zombies mode too. Boasting of an open-world format, it will offer a PvE experience revolving around loot and successful extraction.
