Warzone is Call of Duty’s take on a realistic battle royale game. It debuted in March 2020 under the development of Raven Software. Now, going into the fifth season of the game, there has been a major evolution in gameplay as well as map changes and storyline development.

Following the success of the battle pass system in Fortnite, many other battle royale games adopted the model. Warzone is one of these titles with a battle pass available for the price of $10. Similar to Fortnite, players unlock better items as they progress through the battle pass ranks.

Call of Duty Warzone has always been described as a free-to-play game. Thus, it is not mandatory to buy the battle pass in order to play. However, if you are an avid player of the game and want to unlock some cool-looking gun blueprints and skins, the $10 investment at the start of every season might just be worth it.

Looking at this season’s battle pass, Raven Software unveiled Captain Price as the season’s signature operator. Furthermore, it features 12 new operator skins, 1,300 Call of Duty (COD) points, and 100+ unlockables.

Although the battle pass is not a necessary purchase, it could help players rise up the ranks. This is mainly due to the weapon blueprints that are built to offer accuracy and power. If a player is limited to Warzone, it will take some time before they can unlock all their desired attachments for a particular gun. Weapon Blueprints speed up this process as they provide an effective class setup irrespective of a player’s level or experience.
