Various insiders have suggested the annual release of a new edition, Call of Duty 2022, in the critically acclaimed franchise. The officials will hope to revive the love for the titles among fans with the upcoming entry. Especially after Call of Duty, Vanguard did not meet the expectations.

Call of Duty 2022 leaker reveals details about the game’s development progress

Insider RalphsValve is one of the most renowned insiders in the community, specializing in Call of Duty games. Recently, the leaker organized a “Q&A regarding Call of Duty 2022” answering questions from the fans via Twitter. And the intricate details Ralph disclosed will undoubtedly shock you.

 

Answering a question from an individual regarding the state of the game and campaign at the moment, the insider describes the latter as “Very flat”. Explaining further, they revealed the claim comes from “someone rather close to SP development”

In addition to this, the leaker also answered questions about the development progress.

Interestingly, Ralph had a two-fold answer. They explained how “the fans are in a good spot,” Although, the same might not be applicable for the developers, Infinity Ward. Ralph states Infinity ward has lost essential employees involved in the development of various titles as of January this year.

Ralph also labels the situations as “the ‘shift’ they weren’t anticipating, under the constraints of typical ‘Call of Duty’ development schedules, to produce a game like MWII has cost them”. Surprisingly, employees in higher positions such as Directional and Lead roles have switched studios over the past month.

However, it seems the shift has not affected the foundation of the company. The leaker explained the massive changes were referred to as “normal” for Infinity Ward.
