For those who still don’t know what moderators do, they filter out unwanted comments in chat and can also ban viewers who go against the streamer’s guidelines. However, these moderators can sometimes abuse their authority. Recently, Kai Cenat snapped at his moderators after finding out about their wrongdoings in a recent livestream.

Kai Cenat confronts his moderators

In a recent livestream, the 20-year-old brought up an important issue in front of his audience and fans. Cenat revealed about receiving a message from a viewer claiming to be banned from his streams and further money was asked for him to get unbanned. The Twitch streamer was disappointed with his mods, who exploited their authority to earn money from his viewers.

Kai was furious at his moderators for doing this. He even mentioned if it was a joke by them as it didn’t impress the Twitch streamer. But what acted as oil in the situation was a moderator laughing in the chat while Kai was addressing this issue. The 20-year-old then called out the moderator, who was laughing. Kai then said, “You’re laughing, bro? Like, I’m genuinely not laughing.”

The 20-year-old Twitch streamer continued, “If this was so funny, bro, I would just wipe all of y’all ni**as out right now, bro.” He then explained how their actions bring mud to his name. He continued, ” And it’s like, y’all keep laughing, and I’m dead a** because y’all ni**as is presenting me at the end of the f**king day!”

How did fans react to this situation?

This incident has divided the fanbase into halves. Many are holding Kai Cenat responsible for this incident, as they believe if he paid his moderators, this situation wouldn’t have been raised in the first place.

However, the other half of the fanbase claims being a moderator isn’t a real job, and moderators are usually fans who volunteer for this work. So, they shouldn’t be paid and can leave the task whenever they want.
