Mohan wanted to introduce NFTs on YouTube, as he believed it would let fans get closer to their favorite creators. Although it didn’t happen, Ludwig compared this decision to “like saying I love this new Kanye beat at a synagogue.” The YouTuber further stated that it is not the right crowd, place, or even time to introduce NFTs on YouTube.

Ludwig then shared that aside from this idea, Neal also had some great contributions. Neal introduced fan funding, YouTube Shorts, and also other features like YouTube TV and Premium membership. The 27-year-old then continued that he wasn’t nervous about this change.

The YouTuber shared his reason, “If you think everything that they’ve done is sh*t over the past five-ten years and YouTube is better off 10 years ago without Susan [and] without Neil, well then they’re going to keep doing that. I think Neal is more of the same. He worked very closely with Susan, [as he] was right under Susan. [If] you think they’re doing good over the past five to ten years, well, I think they’re gonna keep doing good.”
