Starfield on Metacritic

Metacritic is a rating website for games, music, movies, and series which aggregates reviews from leading critics. So, the Metascore really speaks for the game’s potential and future. Just like Baldur’s Gate 3 has a staggering Metascore of 96 right now, it is a prominent contender for Game of the Year in 2023, claiming the no 1 spot in the list of Best Games of 2023.
So, Starfield fans are pretty much concerned about how this game will perform on this platform. Recently, one Starfield fan has stated that if Starfield gets a Metascore of 87 or lower, then he will no longer support Metacritic’s credibility and authenticity.
If #Starfield gets lower than a 87 metacritic, we will then know that metacritic is 100% bullsh*t & is bias towards Xbox pic.twitter.com/tVQH7jFxZp

This fan believed Starfield has a huge potential this year and there’s no way it will score 87 or lower. He also thinks not only Metacritic, but the whole media in general has a bias against Xbox. According to him, to defame Xbox, Starfield might be wrongly reviewed on Metacritic.
Not only that, it was already rumored that Starfield will be “review bombed.” Although it won’t harm the main Metascore, it will just affect the user score. Halo Infinite and Calico had to face this nasty situation, too.
Fans Are Speculative
Fans have mixed reactions regarding how Starfield will perform on Metacritic. Here are some fan reactions:
This fan has nothing to do with Metacritic as he has already gotten his hands on the game and will be playing when the game launches. However, he thinks if the game is not good, then it deserves to get a below 87 score.
I don't care for Metacritic, I've already bought and downloaded it. As much fun as I'm going to have, I will still be critical like any other game, if there is jank or parts are broken, if the game isn't very good and gets below 87 I won't think there is bias if it is due.

This fan too thinks Metacritic lost its credibility a long way ago.
I mean we already know it's lost its way. The issue is @metacritic don't seem to be doing much about it to ensure quality review scores.

At the end of the day, all that matters is if you are enjoying the game.
Play the game! If you enjoy it, why would a review score matter

According to this fan, Starfield will get a Metascore of around 95-100.

The game is going to be so good that it will score at least 90 on Metacritic, according to this fan.
The game might be just too good for under 90. My prediction is 90-93 at best. Because of the Xbox-Tax.
