The long-standing movie franchise, James Bond, has heralded the careers of many noteworthy actors into global stardom. Among those names, includes famous Irish actor, Pierce Brosnan. In 1995, the iconic film GoldenEye came out, and it was regarded as one of the best films by the actor. Shortly after, in 1997, gamers saw the release of probably one of the most iconic James Bond titles in GoldenEye 007.
The title has been in the news, as the rumors of its re-emergence continue to make rounds on the internet. The original game had various stakeholders in Nintendo, MGM, and Microsoft, who helped build the project. Now, more leaks from within the community in the past year have revealed the title is likely headed to Xbox.

GoldenEye 007 receives another trademark extension
According to a report by, My Nintendo News, the classic N64 title is not going anywhere aside from Xbox.
It is being said that the classic game is going to get a remaster as the trademark for the title has received yet another extension under “downloadable electronic game software”. 2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the title and it seems like its return might more than likely take place this year.

Not so long ago, fans discovered a rather strange leak, which has brought forward a range of achievements. According to a report by Eurogamer, over 55 new awards, 1000 Gamerscore can be picked up by finishing the single-player campaign and partaking in multiplayer game modes.
Moreover, fans can also uncover screenshots of classic James Bond titles as achievements in the game and more. These leaks about a range of amazing rewards point at the title receiving a new port.

With the recent development and trademark extension, it is safe to say assume that Microsoft is running away with the title. Xbox Series X/S users are more likely to receive the title if it ever comes out in this calendar year or the next one.
