The recent addition to Starfield’s mania is an interesting offer from Best Buy. One fan took to Twitter to confirm that Best Buy is offering free HALO-Astronaut Ice Cream on pre-order of this Xbox exclusive. Adding a photo of the packet, that fan gave the link for his followers to access the product- “Starfield (XSX) preorder at Best Buy includes a free HALO – Astronaut Ice Cream.”

This Halo-Astronaut Starfield Ice Cream offers an ice cream sandwich made of two chocolate wafers and vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream filling inside. The tagline of the product seemed extremely interesting as it said- “Ice Cream on a Mission” with “you can eat on earth or in space!” Looks like Starfield madness has just begun!

Fans react to the Starfield special ice cream

The comment thread showed some hilarious moments from fans. Starfield fans have totally taken Twitter to give their interesting inputs- “So a digital code with some ice cream? Am I missing something?” However, it seemed that Best Buy couldn’t really buy out their customers with this ice cream sandwich. They seemed not to be really interested to buy it separately when a Game Pass subscription offers it for free- “No reason to pay for a subscription free game.”

Some of the fans jokingly reminded others how these ice creams were easily available at any Fry’s outlet before.

Overall, this marketing stunt couldn’t live up to the mark as fans didn’t seem convinced enough. They thought pre-ordering the game for $5 to get a free ice cream sandwich was pretty funny.

Some fans were also spotted getting bamboozled by this deal- “Can’t believe this unironically might affect my pre-order decision.”

Some pretty sarcastic comments were also spotted in the comment box.
