Rachell “Rae” Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, is truly an internet celebrity. With 3.64 million loyal followers on the red platform, she is truly the Queen of YouTube. But did you know she has a sister named KC? Rae’s sibling has appeared on her streams a few times but isn’t a YouTuber herself. However, that doesn’t keep her from brightening up Rae’s day or giving her a serious case of FOMO.

She recently did both by surprising their mother with a surprise visit. KC posted the video to Instagram, to the delight of Valkyrae and her fanbase. Her mother had the most adorable reaction to the surprise, and the video does an amazing job of showcasing that.

Valkyrae misses not being part of her sister’s surprise

The 100 Thieves co-owner recently put up a heartfelt story on her Instagram. It was a capture of her sister KC’s post where she surprised their mother in the Philippines. KC’s caption details the circumstances of her visit. Apparently, her mother believed it would be almost 6 months until she got to see KC again. However, KC made a last-minute decision to fly to her mom’s home country for a huge surprise!

Valkyrae story reads “My sister surprised our mom in the Philippines! I wish I was there,” and shows the moments before the grand reveal. An excited KC knocks on the door asking, “Hi, is my mom here?”. In a few moments, everyone erupted in hoots and applause as the initial shock subsided. KC’s mother rushed to hug her daughter as it became clear the surprise had worked.

She was literally jumping with joy as she hugged KC and Jeremy, shrieking because of the unforeseen turn of events. KC hilariously notes “I can’t breathe”,  to which her mom only tightens her clich.

Fans can only imagine what would have happened had Valkyrae been a part of the magical moment. However, looking at how joyous the occasion turned out to be, Rae can rest easy knowing that her mother is happy.

As for what is next for KC, she detailed in her post caption that she intends to stay in the Philippines for a month. She is very excited to explore her mother’s home country alongside her.
