MrBeast hates Twitch and here’s why…

Karl Jacobs and GeorgeNotFound keep coming up with their weekly podcast BANTER in which they invite one of their friends from the content creation landscape. In a session that ran for over 40 minutes, the three popular individuals discussed various aspects of YouTube, and streaming, and even compared it to Twitch, which is still ruling in terms of just offering a better streaming experience. While they mentioned the pros of the platform, there were also instances where they also talked about how it’s ruining itself with unexpected steps lately.

Karl talked about how the new revenue share split system of 50/50 instead of 70/30 for the Twitch streamers will affect small creators in a big way. Moreover, what made MrBeast highly upset about Twitch, though, was the issue of ads. In fact, there came a point in the podcast session where he literally got so annoyed by the growing ad problem that he said that he will simply remove its app from his phone.

“I’m gonna be honest if they up the frequency of the ads, I will literally uninstall twitch. I straight up will, Twitch is completely unbearable,” he said.

It’s not just because he’s a YouTuber, but he’s also someone who doesn’t like ads while watching online content. Which is a common phenomenon on both YouTube and Twitch. On the latter, however, there’s been a new implementation that prevents one from skipping ads completely.
