YouTube’s biggest philanthropist, MrBeast, is always keen to give back to the community. A recent tweet, however, alerted many that there are scammers who may take advantage of the streamer’s generosity. Despite this, MrBeast has his head in the right place. It may be worth noting that Jimmy’s antics aren’t always propelled by high viewing numbers. Instead, he and his crew are focused on inclusive growth so the entire community has something to look forward to. Yet, not everything may be under his control all the time.
The community is pretty startled after finding out an imposter may be out there scamming children for some extra cash.
MrBeast always puts his fans first

From sponsoring hearing aids for fans to buying entire houses for someone who has long-standing dreams of owning one: MrBeast makes sure people aren’t down because of unachieved dreams. His widespread community work has garnered a lot of attention and it seems there’s no shortage of flies hovering over the smell of wild honey. A Twitter clip has surfaced where an 8-year-old child has been the target of a scam where imposters made bad use of Beast’s name.
MrBeast is also known for his give-away challenges. In such videos, Beast asks random people from the streets to perform challenges to win some big things. However, as TJ Lyles and his son were at a Target store, they had no clue that they would fall prey to some practical jokers.
8-year-old couldn’t have his water-gun
As Gabe and TJ walked into the store, some people came up to them with a fake MrBeast challenge. The impersonators claimed to work for the streamer and asked the father-son duo to get blindfolded and fill up their shopping cart. Gabe was over the moon thinking his dream of starring in a MrBeast video is finally happening. Little did they know that as soon as they’d have their eyes blindfolded, the scammers would run off without paying for even a Tic-Tac.

What’s worse, Gabe has to wear hearing aids and this is exactly why the scammers seem to have targeted the oblivious child. The heartbreaking incident occurred in Southington, CT, and has left the community in disbelief. “It broke my heart because I thought my dreams were coming true“. Gabe went for a water gun as soon as the scammers asked him to fill his cart. However, his dreams of toy guns were squashed when the pranksters vanished into thin air.
