It’s easy to see why mod has become such a big thing given how mods can unleash creative thinking. However, there are many players who prefer to experience games as they were intended by the devs. These players try to keep their hands off mods and are connoisseurs of a more pristine experience.
One fan has recently shared a similar story on Reddit claiming he’ll go in Starfield with his hands kept away from mods.
Starfield fan wants to have an unadulterated experience

Starfield is generating massive hype in the community. Since its announcement last year, fans can’t wait for the game to finally drop. September 6 is the long-awaited day and fans are super excited. Many fans are already considering staying away from social media so as to make sure the experience isn’t spoiled for them. Others are more eager to engage in conversations about possible spaceship builds or locations for their outposts.

However, one fan says he’s more excited to play the game in its basic form. Exploring the vast map of Starfield is something every fan is looking forward to and this player is no different from the rest of the lot. The fan claims he’s never used any mod in any Bethesda title and plans to keep it the same for Starfield as well.

User CozmoXVI says he’s never been attracted to mods or never understood why mods are so glorified within the community these days. He says the base game has enough to offer to the dedicated players and he’s willing to enjoy every bit of it.

Mods are pushing the limits of games
