After wrapping up his virtual concert in one of the most popular online games in the world, Fortnite, Australian Rapper and musician Kid Laroi reacted to his own performance and the show Fortnite had put on in a fan-edited video. Here he could be seen sharing his thoughts about Fortnite and growing up in Australia. 

Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard aka Kid Laroi is an Australian musician who recently won the spotlight on the world stage and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Justin Bieber. His fame and love gave him the opportunity to rock the virtual stage of Fortnite, where giants like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott had performed before him.

In a recent fan-made video edit published on YouTube, Kid Laroi could be seen sitting down and sharing his opinions on the concert. The Kid Laroi concert was a significant feat in the history of Fortnite. As this was the first live event that was made from scratch in the new and improved in-game creative mode.

This feat teased that in the future, anyone with the right skill sets will be able to create their own events and spectacles in the game. In the concert, both an in-game model and a 2D recording of the artist were featured. Looking at his in-game avatar, Laroi said, “It’s so crazy I look so different in this video. Changing everyday man, shoutout puberty!”

“In Australia when I was coming up, I never really had somebody that I can look up to necessarily that had like made it overseas and done it big for Australia,” said the young music star. “I just do whatever I want and get whatever the f*ck I want,” Kid Laroi added his perspective on his career. 

“My style has changed a lot, but as long as you (he) as a person don’t change, it doesn’t matter,” said Laroi, sharing his thoughts about what it means to ‘change’ and when it actually matters. In his journey, he may have never thought of performing on a virtual stage, but he did and accepted the opportunity wholeheartedly.
