“I Have Dreamt of Seeing a Warhammer Universe” – Fans Are Over the Moon as Former Superman Actor Henry Cavill Is All Set to Create Warhammer Cinematic Universe

The former actor behind Man of Steel and Geralt of Rivia, Henry Cavill, is set to star and produce a series based on the beloved Grim Dark franchise. The fans couldn’t hold their excitement as the actor officially announced his latest venture on social media. 

A lot of turmoil was caused when Henry announced that he won’t be returning to his iconic role of the Witcher, Geralt of Rivia. Fans were heartbroken. And the sorrow didn’t end there as recently the actor revealed that he was also let go from his role as Clark Kent, aka Superman. But with his new announcement, it is apparent that Henry is back with something even bigger. 

Henry Cavill is ready to bring the Warhammer universe on the Big Screen

Ever since the announcement of Henry Cavill leaving the roles of the iconic characters, the fans were very upset. In many instances, they had expressed that they wanted to see the actor in a new role in another popular fiction franchise. Many were speculating about what his next big project could be could be.

And finally, their prayers have been answered. The actor on Instagram has confirmed that he is all set to work on bringing the iconic and influential franchise of Warhammer 40,000 to the screens.  It has been confirmed that Henry will be working alongside Amazon as an actor and executive producer of this series. 

On December 17 the actor posted on Instagram saying, “For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life. Partnering with Natalie Viscuso at Vertigo has been a blessing beyond words. Without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon. And having a home like Amazon will give us the freedom to be true to the massive scope of Warhammer. To all of you Warhammer fans out there, I promise to respect this IP that we love. I promise to bring you something familiar and I endeavour to bring you something fantastic that is, as of yet, unseen.”

How did fans react? 

As the news started to spread, fans became ecstatic. They couldn’t believe that this was actually happening. The fans poured in on social media to show how much they love this idea. Some even stated that they can do anything to become a part of this. Justin Menicucci on instagram wrote, “I would do absolutely anything to be an extra in anything related to this.” Krisma Turker on twitter wrote, “A gamer wholl be making a movie about the game hes playing is such a dream come true.”
