The Valorant community is keenly watching the ongoing VCT Lock//In São Paulo. The expectations were immense for many popular teams and the audience didn’t know what to expect in the first biggest LAN event of the year. Teams came in with new rosters and fought for their spots in the event. The highly anticipated team among them was Sentinels.

Considered to be the face of NA, they were looking pretty strong. But got defeated by the EMEA giants Fnatic. Amidst the loss, ShahZaM, the former IGL of Sentinels was seen taking a dig at his former boss.

Sentinels are considered one of the biggest franchises in the Valorant circle. So, it was no doubt that when the Valorant Leagues were announced, they would secure a spot. The team was the first Masters’ winner. But following that, they were not able to deliver. So, when franchised, Sentinels revamped their entire roaster.

This led to some beef between the former IGL and the CEO. According to ShahZaM’s statements, the franchise did not even inform him that he did not have a contract for 2023. This was met with a counterstatement by Rob Moore, which started a Twitter battle between the two.

Time went by, and yet again ShahZaM locked horns with Rob. This time around, it was during the Twitter post where TenZ and Syyko were seen engaging with the spin wheel. The highlight of the tweet was, it sort of took a dig at the old strategies of the team.

“TenZ go kill” was written on the wheel, to which the current head coach replied it was not going to happen this year. This followed yet another Twitter battle.

Now, as the team got defeated rather drastically by Fnatic, the current G2 IGL hilariously commented -“I Guess the Wheel Didn’t Work”.

He additionally stated that he has no beef with any of the players on the team, and he considers them in high regard. He made it clear that the only person he has a problem with was the CEO himself.

With the elimination of Sentinels, 100 Thieves are the only remaining NA team in the competition. As for ShahZaM and G2, they will be seen participating in the ongoing VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 1. Sentinels are currently en route back home and will participate in the Americas league that will soon start after São Paulo Lock//In ends.
