This year was supposed to be magnificent for The Last of Us fans. It all started with the TV adaptation. While the games have been sensational hits, the stakes were high when it was reported to be adapted into a TV series. However, not only did it live up to the expectations but also broke the everlasting curse of video game adaptations.

The developers saw this as the perfect time to introduce the highly-rated PlayStation exclusive to the PC, and it was ported a few days post the series ended. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster. Laden with bugs, the PC port of the 2013 BAFTA Game of the Year broke many hearts.

Players were extremely dissatisfied and flooded the PC game with negative feedback. Naughty Dog did release an 8.6 GB patch to control the situation, but it didn’t fix everything. Finally, they came up with another update, that eliminated the problems. However, the gigantic size of the new update left everyone stunned.
