In an episode of Colin and Samir, the YouTube streamer revealed that he faces immense anxiety and pressure to shoot his videos as expectations can often become overwhelming.

MrBeast rose to fame for his videos on YouTube. From watching paint dry for an hour to reviewing $1 billion yachts, Jimmy has come a long way. While his videos have become more and more audacious, the pressure of continuing to make good content also mounted. MrBeast has often said how he had to constantly scream at people to do things the right way. However, he thinks now he has become calm and can handle stress in different ways.

During the show with Colin and Samir, Jimmy revealed that he had severe anxiety issues that stem from the pressure of making quality content. Beast was heard suggesting that having to make something new for each video can become stressful for anyone. On the other hand, shows that have been airing for a long time can be relatively easier to create with proper financial support. He said that making the same thing for every episode can be quite easy for producers. However, his own way of making content is entirely different and has its own set of troubles, MrBeast mentioned.

The pressure keeps mounting

MrBeast mentions that he has to be under constant pressure for his videos, unlike many other creators. The aim of making something new for every episode can be overwhelming and he and his friends have learned that the hard way. Since he and his team started out abruptly without guidance, it was difficult for them to know everything from the get-go.

MrBeast thinks the team, over a long period of time, has calmed down together and the crew now knows what they have to do. “I don’t have to like, scream constantly to hold people’s retention“, he told his hosts. He also said that pushing boundaries has helped his videos to become better as well.
