The announcement Kyedae made on Twitter shook the Esports space. Many were offering their support towards her, commenting their good wishes for the 21-year-old. Now, the streamer herself has explained what is her game plan to face the disease. Apparently, it seems like Kyedae is taking the situation like a champ, and not allowing negative thoughts to infringe on her mindset.
When fans asked her about how TenZ and her family members reacted to the news, she made a surprising revelation. TenZ at the moment was busy participating in the first major VCT event of the year. So she did not inform him until his matchups were over.
“I Didn’t Want Him In A Different Headspace,” stated Kyedae. She didn’t want her fiance to worry about her at that moment and she wanted him to give his 100 percent towards winning his matches.
We also got to see her supporting TenZ and his team at Brasil. She was cheering for them from the stands, and at that time this received waves of love from the fans.
Chemotherapy and her future streams
She announced to her community that she would be undergoing chemotherapy soon. The fans were worried about the side effects of doing chemo medication as it results in excessive hair loss. Especially as Kyedae and TenZ were recently seen donning their new hairstyles.
She hopes that she doesn’t lose all her hair because of the therapy, and stated that she will be doing the ‘cold caps’ to counter the situation. For clarity, these are used to prevent Chemotherapy medicine to affect the hair follicles extensively.
