Recently, YouTube Star Jacksepticeye joined RTE One’s talk show “The Late Late Show”. In conversation with the host, Ryan Tubridy, the content creator shared his mind-blowing journey as an online content creator and the deep insecurities and fears that followed with it.

Seán William McLoughlin, aka Jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTuber, best known for his vlogs and comedic Let’s Play series. His channel has over 15.5 billion views and 28.7 million subscribers and is the most-subscribed Irish channel. He is considered one of the big three of YouTube Gaming, including Markiplier and PewDiePie.
Jacksepticeye has been an icon on YouTube for the past decade. He has achieved many accolades in his career, including getting a shot at a Hollywood movie with Deadpool Superstar Ryan Reynolds.
But Jack’s triumphs don’t only end there. Other than his impressive career on YouTube, he has lent his voice to many video games, including the cult classic Horror game Bendy and the Ink Machine and the recent indie horror sensation Poppy Playtime. But his crazy ride of a career also had some glaring downs, which he shared in the Late Late Show.
Jacksepticeye shares stories of his 10-year-long journey on YouTube
Recently Jacksepticeye made his second annual appearance on RTE One’s The Late Late Show. In comparison to his previous guest appearance, Jack seemed a lot calmer and more mature.
Host Ryan Tubridy had indulged in a deep-dive into Jack’s arduous journey on YouTube. Jack shared his passion for his craft and how grateful he was to do what he gets to do. He shared how the platform helped him find “his tribe”.
Jack talked about how he was recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and how it changed the whole perspective of his life. Jack shared that his medical condition has been affecting his life since the beginning.
He stated that he used to think he was “Dumb and Undeserving” because of his performance in academics. But back then, he didn’t know that his condition wasn’t the most suitable for his curriculum.
Jacksepticeye’s thoughts on the new age of YouTube
In the interview, Jack shared how he sometimes felt that he “Couldn’t Really Keep Up” with the shifting winds of YouTube. As a 30-year-old man in a world of youngsters, he sometimes felt that maybe he was getting a little too old for this.

But he expressed his excitement about the new trends and aspects that the new generation brings to the platform. And he is very grateful that he still has a place in that world despite his age.
