100Thieves CEO Nadeshot has shared his thoughts about entering the CS: GO scene, and well, his answer might give you mixed feelings.
Nadeshot is one of the renowned personalities in the esports industry. Known for his exceptional business skills in running 100Thieves, fans love his wit, vision, way of talking, and more. He is one of the most soft-spoken people that one can come across, who can lay down his opinion without attacking someone. And well, there are tons of instances to explain this, his Warzone 2 video being the latest one. In that, Nade spoke on how Call Of Duty could change the dynamics of the game, bringing back their ‘lost’ fanbase.
Now, it looks like the 100Thieves CEO has laid down his thoughts about venturing into a new game, laying down the pros and cons of it. Moreover, he has also voiced his opinion about the current esports market and how it could go down the drain if not revamped soon.

Will 100 Thieves ever feature in a CS: GO major? – A question Nadeshot will answer
During their weekly podcast, Courage asked Nade about his thoughts on participating in CS: GO tournaments. Given that Valve recently released CS: GO 2, it was time for the franchise to think of featuring in the majors soon. And well, the game was one of the classics, so that came as an added bonus.
Here’s what Matthew had to say about it: “I would love to get in counter strike. But right now the state of esports – everything is so expensive. Right-sizing when it comes to player salaries, and expectations that agents and managers have for what we’re willing to pay.” Keeping that in mind he said, ‘Unless something changes drastically around the economics of what the expectations are from the organizations, I can’t make any guarantees.’

Then, he went on to mention CS: GO and how Valve was doing a fantastic job of running the game, but there were some problems here and there. Especially with the majors traveling across the world, asking players to move, boot camp there for a long period of time, and if there were any practice, it would just be against the same team.

With that being said, Nade believed that things could only change at the 100 Thieves HQ if these issues were narrowed down. After all, he feels the entire market to be highly expensive at the moment, and going ahead with the idea would be a major risk.
