A streaming war of sorts is currently undercards since the launch of Kick. The new platform aims to bring direct competition to Twitch, which is currently the top dog in the industry. They roped in talents like Adin Ross, who earlier was a partner of its competitor. Additionally, the green platform also has been trying to bag in Kai Cenat, the Twitch Subathon record holder.
But to the surprise of Kick and its supporters, Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed were roped in by a different platform altogether. A dejected Adin Ross was seen sharing insights into what happened behind the scenes.

The rise of a streaming platform is quite dependent on the popularity of the people who use its services. Thus, each platform tries to rope in top talents in the streaming biz to make their platform popular and engaging. So, bringing in Kai Cenat, who had a historic Twitch run seems to be an ideal choice. IShowSpeed is yet another eccentric talent who boasts a wide fanbase. But it seems that Kick’s attempt to bring both of them to the green platform went in vain.
In light of the recent collaboration between Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed, Adin Ross was seen opening up about his dejection of not getting both of them signed to Kick. “I am hurt, I want Kai and Speed on Kick, I am going to be honest” stated Adin Ross, who expressed his dejection of not signing the two talents to the platform.

According to Adin Ross, Kick offered Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed a whopping $40 million as a fee, which apparently both of them turned down. This pushes us to think about the magnitude streaming platforms are ready to go for signing popular figures to their space.

Moreover, if the details stated by Adin are true, Rumble might have offered Kai and Speed much more to pull them into its circle. But according to statements released by Kai Cenat, he wants more creative freedom. Thus we can expect that this move towards Rumble might be to satisfy that desire.
