Huge F1 22 Update Sees Lewis Hamilton Concede Top Honors to His Fierce Rival Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen outperformed the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton last season and defied all odds to lift his maiden title. Building up on that success, the Dutchman has continued the momentum this season as well as he currently leads the championship title race, leaving Hamilton far behind. Similarly, the F1 22 is the 15th installment in the F1 series by Electronic Arts. The game features real-life drivers, teams, and race tracks. Further, the drivers’ stats are based on their real-life performance. So a driver’s stats can go up and down based on their performance in the current F1 season.

Max Verstappen is the best driver in F1 22!

The Dutchman is undoubtedly one of the best drivers on the grid right now. Further, he has a world championship title in the bag to prove that he won against seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton last season.

After the thrilling 2021 season, EA offered a 94-rated card to the Red Bull driver in their latest game, F1 22. However, he shared the ratings with his previous season’s championship rival, Hamilton. After 13 races in the current season, EA has bought a change to every driver’s stats and ratings, including the current leader Max Verstappen.

The reigning champion had a rough start to the campaign, chasing Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who was leading this season. However, Verstappen made a great comeback in the later races before the mid-season break. Thanks to which, he’s currently leading the 2022 championship with 258 points.

Keeping the performances in mind, EA improved Verstappen’s in-game stats based on the the last 13 races. He’s now a 95-rated driver, the highest rating for a driver in F1 22. Undoubtedly, it’s a piece of massive news for Max Verstappen, who also happens to be a simulation racing game fan.
