Microsoft has finally completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It is, in fact, one of the largest deals ever made in gaming, if not in any industry ever. The only bigger deal that comes to mind is that of Disney and Fox, which ended at $71 billion.
It would be silly to think that Microsoft will just let this opportunity slide and will not bring any of Activision’s shining stars to the Xbox Game Pass. Hence, here are some titles that we think are sure to make their way to Xbox Game Pass.
Prototypes 1 and 2
Prototype is a series of superhero action games, developed for Activision by Radical Entertainment. These games followed a world corrupted by some strange biological weapon. The player’s character gets infected by the same things and becomes a superhero. What follows is chaos, gore-filled action sequences, taking down coppers, and tearing apart tanks.
This game hardly disappoints, and its sequel only adds to that chaos with a new character and even a darker story. It’s a sure-shot fact that these games are the definition of fun and will be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Spyro, the Reignited Trilogy
Who does not know about the Spyro Reignited Trilogy? These three games are a remake of the first three games that were released on PlayStation 1 years ago. For those unaware, Spider-Man 2 creator Insomniac started this franchise at the start of its life cycle.

These remakes look as good as any modern-day game. With ultra-HD visuals and such.
Older crop of Call of Duty games
Of course, who can forget Call of Duty? It is clear that Microsoft and Activision will not bring any newer Call of Duty games to Game Pass. So, how does one solve this? Well, one can simply bring the older Call of Duty games to the Xbox Game Pass.
This would be the chance for many people to enjoy the Call of Duty franchise from the very point this series started. From those interestingly dark and gritty World at War games to those set in the modern era, there’s much to experience in this series.
This is just an assumption of how Microsoft would take its next step. It’s not a small deal, and many predictions and assumptions would follow. Let’s see how it goes in reality and let’s hope at least some of these games are on their way to passing very soon.
